when we next meet on Wednesday, April 2nd. We will hear from Rev. Dr. Matthew Heise, Executive Director of the Lutheran Heritage Foundation. Matt will speak to us about persecution of Christians. Matt shares…
“From the earliest days of the Church until now, persecution has been a constant, as our Lord said it would. We will look at the subtle forms of persecution to the most violent forms in evidence today. Despite that pressure upon believers, Jesus’ promise that the Church will withstand the gates of hell remains ever pertinent.”
We will meet for fellowship at 11:30 followed by Historic Trinity’s Lenten service at Noon and lunch at 1:00. We will hear from Matt right after lunch.
